I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue with around 111,000 miles. The CVT transmission locked up, and I had a re manufactured transmission put in by a transmission shop. I noticed when I shift out of park more so in reverse the car jerks or shifts hard. I noticed when I start the car up the rpm’s are at about 2,000. If I let the vehicle idle for a minute the rpm’s drop to about 800 or 750 and won’t jerk / shift hard as bad.

I’ve changed the valve cover and gasket. I replaced spark plugs and boots. I replaced serpentine belt and belt tensioner. I also cleaned the throttle body.

Any help is appreciated, when I told the mechanic shop about it they said it’s prolly a motor mount. However tried to do some research and I saw something about a throttle body relearn procedure, but I’m unsure.

The tranny shop probably didn't load the IP Char values for the new Valve Body into the TCM, so the TCM is operating with bad data for the solenoids. There's a myth out there among tranny shops that Nissan CVT's "self-relearn", but that's false. If you look on TM-9 here, you'll see the procedure for loading the new IP's (this is from the '09 FSM, but the '08 is identical):

It takes a dealer Consult3+ or a very high-end shop scanner to put the TCM in "learn" mode, so you may not have any choice but to visit the dealer.
