alright well after letting my car sit for a year, i finally had the time to start working on it. i had some transmission problems a year ago, took the transmission out, one of the gears was worn out. anyways had it fixed and working a hectic work schedule havent been able to work on the car at all. i finally had time to work on the car this last weekend and get it running. got it up and going, started on the first try. but unfortunately caught a small snag. first off, the engine is idling extremely high, like at 16-1800 rpms. im not sure what could be causing that or how to fix it. next the engine is running very lean, my buddy was saying that it could be from the old fuel that's been sitting in the car? any suggestions? and finally, bleeding the clutch, having some issues with the pedal keeping pressure, we bled it pretty good, but it still seems pretty week. i dont know if it has to do with the little black box on the side, i think its called a clutch dampener? any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be great.

Engine idle usually can be adjusted by the IACV. Do this when the engine is fully warmed.

How lean is it? If your lean under WOT then check your fuel pressure and add some fuel pressure till you get it down to around 11.5 AFR.

The Dampner Box can trap air making for a squishy pedal. Remove it and run the hardline straight to the flexible line. If the problem still happens then replace the Slave cylinder and then Clutch Master Cylinder.
