I just uploaded a bunch of recent pics I took on the members gallery. Link is here: http://nissaninfiniticlub.net/...t=500

I took the car to Big Bucks auto. I should've realized right away by the name of the place that it is a scam. They quoted me $5000-7000 over the phone depending on the condition. So I assumed that $5000 is the lowest that I would get. They offered me $4000. Eventually it went up to $4700 but I didn't want to sell it to them on principle.

So the car is still available. I've received interest from some NICO members. I'd be willing to cover the cost of the flight to come pick up the car or for the shipping...so in essence, the car becomes a $5000-5500 car.

The car does have scratches and cosmetic blemishes so it's not pristine...but it runs very well. No weird sounds or stutters. Smooth shifts on the transmission. If anyone has questions, email me at [email protected]

Ok, I'm sure someone (at least Wes) knew I'd do this.

Wonder how fast I could drive from Mass to SoCal! It's a beautiful car Doc. Here I am trying to get rid of one car and there you are tempting me to buy another.

Thanks all for the feedback and support. I will really miss the car but knowing that it will stay in the NICO community gives me some comfort. I have 2 interested parties. Do I reserve the car for the person who emailed me first showing initial interest or makes final arrangements to have the car picked up first? I want to do the honorable thing.

My thought would be the first party that showed "real interest" should be allowed first opportunity, but keep in mind, if they show first interest and say I can pay for it in March, that's not real interest.

There's my 2 cents.

I agree...

Give the person who asked first ample opportunity, and then if they are wavering, Id let the other one take it......

The car is under agreement right now. We are trying to iron out the details for shipping. I have 2 other back up buyers and also have a prospective buyer for the snow tires in case the buyer doesn't need them. The current buyer needs the snows so I'm including them with the car.

I definitely could have sold the car more easily to that used car dealer but they in turn would have sold it to someone for a LOT more than I was selling it for. I'm glad that a Q enthusiast will enjoy the car as it really is one sweet ride.

Indeed, this is a very pretty specimen! Mine looks JUST like it (NOT), with the minor exceptions that (a) mine's a '94, (b) it's not a "Q45t", (c) paint job ain't so nice, and (d) interior needs a lil TLC (Arizona has this nasty way of drying out leather). Other than those few things, I guess I have something to shoot for...in terms of the potential my Q has.

the car is currently being shipped to denver, CO. I know she will be in good hands. I just hope the shipping company doesn't screw things up.

The body work realy doesn't look that bad. Looks much better than mine. One of the cleanest Qs I've seen on Nico.
