Damn. Starter is giving me trouble. Have to remove steering rack to get starter out. Have to remove lines to remove steering rack. Lines did not want to come out after 230k miles. High pressure line sprung a leak.

$500 from Infiniti. You're kidding, right?

Trying to find a local shop to fabricate it, very angry about this.

Ridiculous.

sucked it up bought a used one on eBay for $120 shipped.

I had a local hydraulic shop build me one. It was pretty close to $100 so you didn't spend much more than you needed to.

Good to hear. I did investigate that locally, and it seemed no one too close could do it. Plus with all of the factory bends I figured BAH just go with an OEM one. I have 229k on my car, and the only reason the line failed is because the fitting had seized to the line and damaged it in removal, so I figure most any other OEM one will last for a long time. Not a fun job though.....
