A pretty wild video of driving a formula car around the Ring in the snow. At 4 minutes the camera switches to a cockpit view. Watching the drivers hands while the suspension transmits everything to him is impressive.

Looks like so much fun. You can definitely tell how sketch the run was just by how long it takes him to even get back to being slowed down at the end.

HELL YEAH.

AWD is for p******.

I notice two different sets of wheels in the video, I wonder why.
He's obviously going VERY slow through a lot of it, but it still looks like several shiploads of fun.

High power? Is 140hp high power? I drove one of those cars around the GP circuit, it's enough power to get busy but far from high power, especially when making the climb to Veedol and you're yelling at the car to go faster.

It's all rack determinate. Some racks are quicker than others. The car in this video is a generic car that they have at Nurburgring for learning purposes, so it's not going to have as much in terms of variability as other cars.

You also do not need much steering. Those little things you drive with the throttle as much as you drive with the wheel in most cases. Turn in, power on, push out of the pocket, flat out. They're a lot like driving a proper kart. If you're turning the wheel massively, you're not going fast, chances are you've just made a massive mistake and are attempting to save something.

Like the Ken Block videos, this is heavy editing. LOTS of takes. He's also on two different tracks, the real ring (the GP circuit) and then the 14.2 mile junk track. The tires will get hard after too much exposure to snow so they probably would have him to a couple flyers (well, flyers might be too grand for a 45 mph spin around a circuit) and then change wheels quickly. He was probably also trying out different wheel weights to find the best balance w/out sacrificing too much power.
