High pitched noise from brake pedal

All things Altima Coupe.

08 altima with a high pitched whine when the brake pedal is released. Does it while driving, parked, even shut off. It goes away if you push on the pedal just a little bit.

Should also state the noise is somewhere in engine compartment

Okay, so you're saying the noise comes from the engine compartment whenever you apply the pressure to the brake pedal?

Have you checked to ensure your brake fluid is full?

No noise stops when you apply pedal.
