SOOOOO I'm a huge fan of stupid cars, and I think this takes the cake. Amidst all the M3's, 911's, Amg's, and Bently Conti GT's carving through the Pacific Coast Highway just north of Santa Monica I found a BEAUTIFUL GT car (insert extreme sarcasm here).

Carbon Fiber Spoiler for EXTREME HIGH SPEED STABILITY

note the GT badge that looks an awful lot like a Porsche Carerra GT badge.

He came flying up beside our car, then did a thumbs up when I whipped out the camera, then did a ricer fly-by after I took the pictures I suppose trying to show off....completely negating his fuel economy.

Anyways enjoy plz.

Well that is like the R8 TDI V12....

But I know why they did it and that is for the TQ not a HR v10 or something like that lol...

I think the er is just in them and no matter what they drive they got to make it look and sound

You know...i don't think i can knock the prius...i mean yeah it's not your typical sports car at all. But he's just doing what we all do, customizing his car to make it reflect him. All in all his car looks pretty tastefully done and it's really that ricer at all. Yeah its different, but so where the people in the late 80's that started modding import cars instead of Mustang's and Camaro's. I give the dude a thumbs up for making his car look different than the 103938019831 stock hybrids out there.

But it is still a prius, most of the prius drivers i encounter are very stuck up and full of themselves maybe they are all pissed off because they learned that a corolla gets better mpg?

Most are...but some are different...my old boss had one and he did stuff to it to make it faster. He got it b/c it was something different and a challenge. Sometimes its fun to be different

I can see doing the CF wing...but to put random badges on a car is just tasteless IMO.

I was thinking that the little spoiler might improve aero until I saw the badges.

It's possible that mommy or daddy bough him the car and he really wanted a G

Well ironically they aren't random badges....there's a special edition/package of the prius call the Grand Tourer....so the GT badge would fit if it's this model. They came with a factory spoiler, different wheels, and some different interior options. Yeah the GT on the side there may not be factory or toyota badges, but they aren't ugly or bad.

...so you're saying that there is a "GT" prius model?

The guy was in his late 40's easy, my bet was around 51 - 52. And sure I'll give him credit for trying to stand out and be different with the looks. But come on, he was racing around trying to keep up with the likes of M3's and 911's. That negates the entire reason WHY you buy a Prius. Like I said props to him for trying to stand out and be different, but come on....

Yes there was a GT prius model....they are very rare, but they are out there, they have gun metal wheels. When I sold toyota's we had 2 in the dealership over a 7 monthe period. They were both special orders.

I knew a girl in one of my math classes who's dad was on a prius racing team. A what?...Yeah Prius race car.

I guess they removed all of the fuel efficiency systems and pumped it for speed.
