Haha! That is PIMP! It's hard to tell from the picture, is that Accord an LXi?

I have a confession though, the '88 and '89 Accords were my favorite years for that car. I still like them. My favorite Accord model from that generation was the '89 SEi. Available in both automatic and 5-speed, they had leather, fully loaded with factory Bose stereo (cassette only :D) and volume controls on the steering wheel, which was the first time those two things were offered on a Honda. Made it out to be an extremely nice car for the time. It was just like having a downsized Acura Legend. Not quite as fast though. ;)

is that a real racing stripe? if he hates it you should have done a duct tape racing stripe, i know someone that did and it looked pretty good from far away.

I loved those! There is a switch on the dash board to the right of the steering wheel where you could flip them up w/o turning on the lights. A good thing to have if your car sat outside in the freezing rain. Then you could still use your headlights without worrying about them being frozen shut. Hey, do the s13s have a switch like that?

Guess what my first car "the one before this" was tony??? You guessed it, a silver/grey 89 Se-i coupe. In my ricer days I put on a set of tokico hp's, neuspeed sport springs, american racing rims "bought them for 50 bucks", and had a complete system and interior accents. I USE to love that thing.

Those silver ones with the dark gray leather were nice! In fact, that is the only SEi color that I can recall that you could get in BOTH coupe and sedan. Most of the colors were only available on one or the other. One of the music instructors at my college also had an SEi 5-speed. His was the dark green over tan, which was not that common on any car at the time.

Dark green over tan cars on the used car lots today are a dime a dozen!

Ask him if he wants to buy an APR DTM Euro wing. I have one to get rid of.
