Okay I bought my 96 Infiniti i30t from my step mom a little while ago and she told me that the high mount or "3rd brake light" located on my spoiler hasn't been working for the past 8 years. What can I do to fix it? should i try replacing the bulbs? And I just got a new system put in (two JBL 12s) with my stock headunit... On my lunchbreak today, I put on a song that hits really hard and the lighting that reads off to you what song youre listening to starting flickering on and off, it would turn off for about a minute and then turn back on. I've had my system for about a month now and this is the first time anything off has happened. I'm in need of some advice SOON!!!

ps- she only has 70,000 miles on her and she runs like a beauty... My step mom never had any problems with her either. thanks!!!

Yeah, if your other brake lights work properly, you more than likely just need to replace the bulb.

The stereo issue sounds like a wiring problem. Either something is shorting out or loosing power. Does the display flicker over harsh bumps as well?

Okay... I just figured out that it was the cd that i was playing putting out too much power cus of how hard the base was hitting.... i havent had a problem since ive played that cd in my car (& havent played it since). lol. But ya im going to see what i can do about my high mount. hopefully all i have to do is just get a new bulb for that bad boy.

thanks
