High Intensity Fog Light - How To 2012 QX56

I've done a number of searches but have come up empty on recommendations for plug in high intensity white fog light bulbs. In addition, not finding any instructional videos for installation. Any assistance would be appreciated.

LED bulbs are much better than HIDs. the tech in LED tech has caught up with HIDs.

ive a 2012, bought brand new in 2011. i have LED fogs and LED bulbs all around the car, inside and out. i had a 2008 armada and had HIDs in the fogs and low beams so i know a thing or two about HIDS.

what do you need to know ? they are really just plug and play. you have a ballast,ignitor, bulb receptacle, wiring harness. instructions come with good quality bulbs.

i recommend VLEDs dot com. they have HIDs and LEDs and have japanese quality lamps/products.

Just finished replacing the foglights on the QX, was so impressed, I wanted to share the pics. Which I will when the Admin lets me. It was really simple, 3 bolts on the bottom of the air dam, then 90 degree twist of the bulb and swapped out the LED 6000K I got on Amazon for 25 bucks. SiriusLED H8 Size DRL Fog Light LED 30W 6000k. They match the headlights perfectly!!!

Do I need to remove the wheels to get access to the bulbs? Can you please give me more information about getting access to the bulbs? Thanks a lot

no. you can crawl under the fender and see everything. just look under there and it will make sense.
