Okay... i can start my car and it runs an idles fine... I'll take off and when i come to a stop or step the clutch in it idles at about 2300rpm and will slowly drop back down to idle which takes about 30secs... could this be a sticking throttle cable or vac leak... anyone else experience this problem.. please hit me up with some feedback.. much appreciated.. thanks

sounds like an issue with the recoil spring on the TB not springing back properly

i agree with Gabby, as i think i have a similar problem

dont mean to thread jack, but i am NOT running a BOV and when i lift of the gas after building boost, the car will idle high a bit then drop..idk if its because of the pressure in the pipes or the throttle spring

Yah the bov is vented to the atmosphere... i noticed if i f*** with the bov vac line it helps it drop.. but it still stays high..

I have vented for like 4 years. Never had that issue without an associated vaccum leak...

Clean the idle control block on the side of the plenum. If you are careful removing it, you'll be able to reuse the gaskets.

Once you are done, re-set the idle speed by following the factory manual for the S13 CA18, as available all over the net at a filesize of 22MBytes.

http://carfiche.com/manuals023...df.gz

The problem with most atmo blow off valves is that sooner or later they start to leak..even at idle... causing problems with factory idle control. try removing the BOV and blocking the vaccuum hose to it, to see if that helps.

Cheers,Chris

no job, and stock CA turbo. SR turbo is in my future, and the CA didn't come with one from the factory...i NEED/WANT one, and its next on my list, just can't afford one right now
