High idle....

I have swapped MAFs back and forth, with my old one and the one on this car and theyre both the same..... Right now i have the MAF in that came with the car...

I drove with both MAFs for a few weeks each...

I'm not suggesting the MAF is bad; I assume it's good. What I'm saying is that if you have a vacuum leak, then the air is unmeasured--it won't show up in the MAF voltage. But if there's no leak, the air must pass through the MAF...it gets measured, the voltage is higher than it should be.

OK... this continues to get weirder..

Today I was messing around with a few things.. I had a few little hoses (the ones right by the MAF) that were broken, so i replaed those.. Since I had the intake hose off, i figured id go ahead and clean the TB again...

Well, now the car idles EVEN HIGHER than before, now about 1100, and i didnt mess with ANYTHING but cleaned the TB thoroughly...

Give your car a zanex or a valum or something like that....I bet that will soothe your beast.

sijoko is killng me over on another thread about that carbon fiber driveshaft and I would be very tempted to buy it if I could find a buyer for my old driveshaft that has about 30K on it....you would not know if anybody that needs a driveshaft would you????
