high idle speed
high idle speed
My s13 wants to idle very high normal idle speed 700 rpms mine 1200. it had new injectors and a new fuel moduelator installed before I bought it. It also does what alot of hondas ive heard do it will rev up to 2000 hold it for just a second then back down to 1500 and keep doing it for awhile and not when it just cranks up when its cold but after Ive driven it and its at normal operating temp. What could this be?? also it uses gas way to much and its not just cause of the lead in my right foot.

Yeah. Just like he said. Un plug the TPS and adjust the idle screw. Look in your FSM for the location. The procedure is outlined in the FSM as well.heartofaskyline wrote:just adjust the idle down, no biggie

Ok thanks I was looking for the idle screw but I couldnt find it I bought the car without a service manule and I cant find a chilton manule anywhere. So my question now is what is the TPS and FSMSlammed95S14 wrote:
