Hello everyone. This is my first post and I need your help. I recently had my intake cleaned on my 2003 Pathfinder and it messed up everything. After my mechanic cleaned the intake the idle ran high, around 1100 rpm in park and neutral. I took it to my local nissan dealership, under my mechanics recommendation, to "reprogram the idle speed". The nissan dealership tried to relearn the idle but it would not take the program. The nissan dealership said that I needed a new throttle body. I took it back to my mechanic to put on the new throttle body and the idle never went back down. I took it to another nissan dealership and they tried to relearn the idle and had no luck. They put on a new throttle body as well and it still would not take the program to relearn the correct idle speed. The last nissan dealership said that it had to be the computer.
Has anyone had a similar problem or does someone know of something else these people dont know before I spend $1600 on a new computer or just get rid of the pathy all together. Thanks for the help.
John
