high idle / no power

so i just bought another 240 5speed coupe. the car ran fine for the first week then recently it just started idling high around 1500-2000 when ever i was at a stop or when i start it. i havent driven her since the problem started happening was scared engine gonna blow on me. im also loosing power cause of this. she doesnt feel as fast as it was before.

looking for a quick reply gotta drive down to states soon!

Id say a huge vac leak. Start spraying down the intake manifold throttle body injector o rings etc. With water. If it is as big as it sounds you will find it quick.
