okay so I just got my ecu tuned by emance last week. When I installed it, the car runs fine but it idle at 2000 RPM. I finished looking for a leak and stuff but found nothing .... i researched all the thing that can cause the high idle but nothing seem to work ... does that mean its happening cuz the ecu?

If the car was idling fine before, and your problem happened right after you installed the ECU, logic would tell me that the ECU is the culprit. Try a known good ECU & see if that fixes it.

Did you try to adjust the IACV screw? Make sure your timing is set correctly (non-turbo).

Edit: You're running KA-T. Disregard my timing statement. I'm lost when it come to turbo. *shrug*

It could be the maf, try unplugging it and see if that lower the idle, if it does, try cleaning it with maf cleaner or get a new one, this fix my high idle problem, now on to the overheating.
