Finally i got my friends sr20det and we fixed a pully problem that was wrong with it, but now im noticing as i drive around and stop at redlights, stop signs, or just chill the car wants to idle at 2k and something 2.2k. The car is at stock boost with a greddy fmic, upgraded pressure plate, stage 2 clutch and an apex'i gt exhaust. so now when im stopped i let the cluth out about half way to lower the idle to around 1300-1500 so its not as loud just sitting there. I've lowered and raised those two bolts on the throttle cable but didnt seem do much. And a side note that might help someone figure out whats letting it idle so high, sometimes when i rev or take off the tac will got stuck at 3k and one time this morning after messing with the throttle cable 5k! and once that happens i have to rev up a bit to let it not get at that idle. and i noticed temperature has been affecting many peoples cars but im in louisiana where the temp never much hits 50. (pics of my new ride will be up soon!)

adjusting the idle with the throttle cable is not the correct way to adjust idle speed. use the screw on the iac.

i realized that about that clutch...not a good idea at all cuz it has a nice one in there right now so i dont release it anymore i just let the car idle.

and the screw on the aic, exactly where is that located, i need to download the book on the sr20.
