High Idel 1500!???

Ok I'm stuck with my rb26 thats in the body of a 2002 spec r S15.

its idling at 1500 and has seen I've purchased it.

Its tried adjusting the aacv valve screw but it seems to be stuck where it is....

a friend of mine said the fuel choke could be stuck on.....he said its one of the pipes leading into the inlet....could this be the case cause its making engine run rich and fouling the spark plugs and generating too much heat always running at 1500.

it will start up from cold at 1200 fine then when its warm it will stay at 1500...and never change....any help please!

Have you tried unpluging the AAC? When you unplug it the RPM is suppose to drop. Have you hooked up a vacuum gauge at all either?

Check for vacuum leaks, and also since it's a 26, make sure your ITB's are adjusted properly.
