I just recently purchased a 2009 M35 RWD equipped with the HR and the 7at. AND knocking catalytic converters.
I gutted the cats to resolve the annoying rattle (metal substrate was loose) but this created a sound I dislike... (sounds like exhaust leak, but there is none)
I made the assumption that test pipes from a 350z with the HR motor would fit so I ordered them.
The flanges are the same (both ends) BUT there are fitment issues with the floor...

I know the VQ35DE equipped M's can use DE spec g35/350z pipes / high flow cats, so whats the deal with my car?

The question is - what (if any) test pipes and high flow cats fit this car?
OR am I looking at dropping a grand on OEM cats to solve my problem?

I was under the impression it would fit too. Do you have any pictures?

I am HOPING the set of pipes I ordered are just poor copies. Waste of ~180 dollars...
I ordered another set, and this time I will take pictures.. Everything I have looked at would
lead me to believe it should work.
