High Flow Catalytic Converter

was looking for one but don't know which would make a differecne or not.i heard the install might be a pain is it? what about the performance? does it make a difference? and what about the sound of my exhaust would it change that?

replacing a catalytic converter has to be the easyest thing on the planet, if you can play with legos, you can replace a catalytic converter. It will make your car run cleaner because its new, but it wll probably perform only marginally better. You car will sound the same as it did before.

where can you even buy one? cheapest ive found stock convertors was http://www.catylaticconverters.com (probably not spelled right) and for the 240 they are like $96 that's for a stock one though. I haven't been able to find high flow ones really

catco makes one that some people use, buudweizer dout i spell it right uses one on his SR

yeah, i have a 3" Catco on my car.

so it just bolts right in and replaces the stock cat even though its 3"?? is it worth $139? cause i can get a stock cat for like $89

well its 3" so it will flow a little better than a stock one

it really isnt the diamiter, its the flow rate through the mesh material in the cat. I also got my 3" cat from heavythrottle.

ill probably get one then. along with the hotshot header, that should clear up all exhaust probs!
