Alright so I decided not to go with a test pipe after reading reviews and research oh well. Other option is a high flow cat, is it worth it? Sound difference few more ponies? Ka24de N/A. Help a new 240 owner out here. This is the one I was looking at.

There won't be a noticeable difference in power.
I'm running a high flow cat on my KA-T and feels fine.

You're going to have to weld flanges on to that. If you can do that then go for it. I don't think you can lose on a working cat for 60 bucks.

Get that one yeah. I would stay stick to a cat over a test pipe, but then again...I'm a semi-environmentalist.

Yeah that's what I thought, so test pipes are really that bad huh? I would think the absence of honey comb would benefit.

I have a hi-flow on my turbo setup.
It's fine.
On an N/A I doubt you'll feel a difference, unless you've been driving with a clogged cat the entire time.

About 3k I think?
I paid $800 for a new S15 turbo from FRsport. If you can find a good deal on a used turbo, you can cut the costs down quite a bit.

Read this thread. It isn't worth it on a N/A setup.

Damn so installation was like 2k? What type of shops would I need to go to? Cause I know a normal mechanic would have no clue. My KA has 144k runs great and I take care of it, probably wise for a rebuild before that turbo huh?

Heck no! Haha.
I did all the installation myself.
The rest of the cost were parts other than the turbo.

the only thing that kit is good for is the intercooler piping, the turbo its self is garbage.

Dont buy ebay turbos. Check the F/S section if you dont want to pay full price. Good used S15 turbos usually go for around 500 bucks.

From ebay, only buy the intercooler pipes.
Everything else, buy legit parts, used or new.
If you're gonna buy cheap exhaust stuff (turbo elbow, downpipe) from Megan Racing or something, throw out the garbage hardware it comes with and use better ones, or else they'll all rattle off in a few hundred miles and you'll need to go back and scrape your knuckles trying to put in new bolts and nuts.
