high flow cat for non turbo

hey

i'm thinkin of getting a highflow cat (catco) for my 240sx ka24de with hotshot headers, intake, and exhaust. I'm probably going to get a 2.5 inch exhaust, and will need this catco to replace the 2.5in dummy. I want to pass strict nj emissions. Will I be ok with a 3inch cat? does size matter when it comes to cats? I saw someone with a 2.5 inch catco cat, but i thought they only made them in 3inch (atleast thats what enjukuracing.com sells) I know the thread "I am technoman" started, so I know where to get info on setting up the cat so it's legal. I just need to know if the 3 inch will be ok on a non turbo, or will it be too big and I'll fail emissions?
