the current setup is a tubualr top mount manifold, precision sc-50 t3/t04e, 740cc's, 3in ex, greddy intake mani, SS tuned ecu, head work (cams, ras, hg, studs, port/polish) etc etc
welll i fixed the timing a few times......i even pulled the valve cover to be sure....this is what i got......and as of now its still glowing red at idle......i need help bad here
So as far as i can see that is the correct timing.....so y does it run so damn hot????!!!! Glowing red manifold at idle and it'll idle at 500C-550C and my probe is behind the turbo on the DP not even on the manifold itself....at WOT ill see upwards of 700-750C+.......the car also doesnt make the kind of power it should.....thats y i suspected timing....on time i cranked up the timing and set it to 15BTDC but the idle was at like 1800rpms come to find out it wqas more like 40BTDC and the thing ran AWESOME....,..fast as hell and the EGT temps were way down.....but i dont wanna blow up my motor running with too much timing.....what should i do???? ANY CLUES????:help
