Ok I've been playing with my timing for a while now trying to find the best setting. The compression is 10.6:1 and I'm running 93 octane, It seems to run pretty good at about 25 degrees. I'm just curious as to what other high compression kas are running.

I run about the same. What plugs are you using and what are the gapped at?

Well, when i run N20 I use the zex plugs that are pretty cold, but usually I just use regular bosch platinums that are spaced for a stock ka, I'm not sure exactly, I've never measured them. But I am using a msd digital 6 plus, and a msd blaster 2 coil so it fires twice instead of just once under 3,000 rpm.

OK so I am not familiar with Bosch plug numbers because I am not a fan. I use either NGK or Champion in the race car. It has more compression but about the same timing. I run them 2 steps colder than stock on the NGK or the champion. We also found that with more compression the engine likes a little tighter Gap than stock. We closed them up to .030 and found the best performance there.

You mean tighter gap for less detonation/ more advanced timing, or more hp?

I'm talking about turning the distributor to adjust the timing. And its mackdaddy240, although shrooms do sound pretty good
