High compression & N2O? 10.6:1 with 65 shot safe?

I built a ka24de with 11.1:1 compression then put a cometic metal gasket in that was suposed to drop the compression 1/2 a point. So it should be around 10.6:1. I have a zex kit with a 65 shot of N2O I was wondering if anyones ran this kind of compression with nitrous with a stock fuel system. I'm planning on taking it to the track this saturday so I was just wanting to see if you guys think I'll detonate with that type of compression if I ran 100 octane fuel.

as long as its a wet kit it should be safe. High compression and nitrous are boys, if you catch my drift.

How did it go? I hope you used race gas and retarded your timing to be on the safe side - maybe colder plugs too.

well she took the nitrous no problem, and I did have some colder zex plugs. but traction was a whole nother problem, I really need some LSD . I only got to run once and it wasnt the best but I ran a 15.41 with a bad 3rd gear syncro, had to shift twice to get into 3rd. But I easily have 14s with a open diff. if I would have had a better run. Alothough I was expecting 13s with the N2O and some lsd, hopefully with a little more tuning to the ecu I'll be able to when I get my J30 differential.

No cams but it'll run mid-high 14s with a good run. I'm hoping after I get my LSD and a lil wider grippy tires I can get high 13s and hopefully if I ever save up enough to get a set of cams I could get into the the lower 13s.
