i have near the same setup and i had to install a safc to rich up the fuel. factory fuel maps just dont cut it and you will feel what i am talking about. other than that no you wont max the factory injectors. and he is right about the 93 octane. once made the mistake of letting someone pump my gas they put 87 in and wouldnt start. let me know if you need any help.

Someone increased the compression doing (X) amount of work to acheive a goal: (Y)

the Y In this case:Additional torque from similar quantity of air

They probably didnt mention (Z) the cons of such a setup.Z: more work for the starterrequires higher quality fuelrequires delicate ignition timingless headroom for mistakes (with any of the above)

Even if everything is done perfectly, you still have the negatives of the setup, all for just Y.. a little extra torque. Not to mention the fact its a rebuilt KA, something that is rarely done correctly from bottom to top. IMO not a daily driver.

If you want a reliable DD buy a 100% OEM S13/S14 do some regular maintanance and drive it till you can afford to change the engine.
