Yes. Reversion waves. Everyone is aware. Manifold length still has an effect beyond reversion waves. Theoretically (assuming the KA manifold length is 18 inches), you could make a manifold with even longer runners to get the reversion effect, yet the engine would breathe even worse at higher RPMs. Runner length is mainly a compromise between building air velocity to create a slight forced induction effect, and being able to move enough air in time to fill the cylinder at high rpms. If a reversion wave was all you wanted to consider, then you could make the length any number that divides evenly into 18.
There's a reason why N/A race engines use an ITB setup, even if they aren't ridiculously high revving.
