I have a 2003 G35 sedan and the high brake lights on the rear shelf don't light. What is my best approach to repair? Since all are non-functioning I suspect a wire, connection or switch.

probably the bulbs gone out, or the wire is diconnected.

You should be able to access this from the trunk.

Thank you for your reply. I suspect wire as the bulbs are LEDs and they should last a very longtime. I will check under the trunk liner for wiring connection.

My money would be on the brake light assembly.

To do this correctly you will need to remove the rear seat and parcel shelf to get it out. It unplugs from inside the trunk above the liner and there are two screws on the underside of the parcel shelf.
