High beams wont turn on

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

My high beans wont turn on. I come to turn them on and i get nothing. I found out that the wires were exposed for the high beans both so all i can assume is if the negative and positive touched then i popped a fuse. I cant find the high beam fuse either. I rewrapped the wires and secured them but still nothing. Anyone know what i should do?

I take it that you already tried new bulbs.

I believe there are three main fuse boxes in an '08 EX. Two of them are called out in the owner's manual, and I think the third is only referenced in the factory service manual.

For two in the owner's manual, one is located in front of the battery and the other is behind a door in the plastic trim near the parking brake pedal. The third fuse box is to the left of the battery. See this thread: topic606109.html#p6685496

I don't know which box has the fuse for the high beams, so you might have to do a little bit of digging. Good luck and please let us know if you're able to fix the problem.
