I have the same problem but both brights don't work. Also my right turn signal says on when I turn my lights on.

high beams only on one side? already did a bulb? intermitant? classic switch problem. i have seen a few. you can test the switch or just as easily remove switch, disassemble, and clean all the corroded copper contacts(easy). sometimes thats all it takes.

if a blinker is staying on with the lights you have a backfeed issue or possibly a regular short. i would start by removing all the tail lamp, headlamp, and turn signa bulbs and inspecting the terminals for melting or corrossion.

carefull carefull with that multimeter!!!i have learned the hard way that voltage is not gospel. to be fully trusted you must also test the voltage drop. you can have 12v at the lamp and not have enough current carrying capacity(due to resistance) to run the load. that is the case in your situation.

have fun and be safe

yea, its realy easy to do. then get some fine sand paper, I used 400 grit and took about 10 mins and it worked like a charm.
