Has anyone experienced this issue? It seems when I 'flash to pass' and pull the high beam stalk towards me, it not only turns them on but also the low beams?
And since the low beams have HIDs, repeated flashing isn't exactly the best not to mention it looks stupid. Is this the way it is designed or some sort of a fluke?

Right exactly. Which brings me to my question of why the low beams come on when you pull the headlight stalk towards you. Assuming all other lights are off, this should not happen. Does yours do the same thing?

I'm not sure about when you're low beams are off but when they're on and you hit your high beams your low beams will not go off like in most cars. This is because it will tax the ballasts and bulbs when you don't get them enough time to come up to temp before shutting them off. I'll check my QX4 later when I jump in to see if when the lights are turned off and I initiate my high beams the HID's come on as well.

Thanks and yes, the issue is only about them coming on when all other lights are off and I just need to flash my high beams.
Hopefully one day I'll be able to update the low beam lighting b/c it really sucks for HIDs. Reflector based ones arn't all that bright. Hopefully be able to retrofit in a bi-xenon projector or something. One step at a time I guess
