if i can recall on my i35 the high beam was a seperate bulb from my hid low beams. I swapped out my hid headlights for halogen because one of my ballasts was burnt out and i did a maxima front end swap. Did you check the bulb? Could of blown when you swapped out the ballast if you didnt disconnect the battery

Its actually one bulb on the maxima with a shutter like deal that moves up & down when you flick the switch to high that lets more light through.. The high beam was working before i swapped assemblies, I actually bought a halogen by accident not knowing they even made halogen for an 05 maxima. So we modified the halogen to be a HID which wasnt easy might I add but we did it, After we installed it and put it all back together is when we noticed the high beam not working.. So i bought a ebay HID plug & go and still no high beam.. all the fuses & relays are good to my knowledge, another guy mentioned to me that it could have triggered a fail safe of some kind in the ballast or BCM.. I have used 2 different ballast so im not sure thats it.. Also im not sure what BCM is at this time but i will find out with some research after i finish this "Andre The Giant" post.. Im trying to avoid going to the stealership and getting robbed of my hard earned cash nor do i wanna keep buying HID assemblies until i figure it out...
ANY KNOWLEDGE FROM ANYONE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!
