hids too bright ?

i just recently installed some 5000k hids into my 07 sedan and took it out on a long highway trip. all night long the oncoming drivers were high beaming me to "turn off my high's" when infact i didnt have them on.

i looked under the hood quickly to see if there was a quick adjustment screw so that i could angle the headlights more towards the ground but i didnt find anything.

can anyone sugguest anything before a cop pulls me over...

if you look down into one of the bolt holes surrounding the headlight under the hood, youll see a green screw, and that is the adjustment screw

Does this green screw also exist in the coupe oem HID package? If so, I wanna angle mine up a little higher.

you ever notice the only people who will flash there brights at you are those who only have halogens, sounds like HID envy

Hey dont worry brighter is always better lol... I have HID on my lows and my Highs so when ppl do that I show them what t real deal is and I bet you never gonna see that again.... but is because those people don't know what hid are... lol...

i did expect a certain level of people on the road wouldnt like them, but not this many. all i did was take the halogen bulb out and installed the hids. no adjustments. ill play with the green adjustment screw tonight

on friday night, i was driving in the mountains, came up on a lineup of cars (single lane at this point) and was behind this one guy for less than a min and i kept my spacing. the road quickly opened up for a passing lane but i was only able to pass the one car. well after i passed him and was like 10 cars ahead, he turned his hi beams on to try and piss me off. i know he was trying to piss me off cause he did it like 6 times over the coarse of 5 minutes.

i get high beamed all the time. i have 8000k on my lows. will be installing 3000k on fogs sometime this week.
