Wow so you i just bought some 5000k hids and followed all the instructions on the how-to's.

Then when I was putting the new bulb into the socket, it wouldnt go in.

The directions said i had to drill a 25mm hole into the back of the socket.

Anyone know anything about this?

lol yes i did take the plastic cover off. The directions clearly say drill a 25 mm hole but all the videos i have been watching, no one has done this.

they are h11 hid's though

no need to drill a hole, that's only for some other cars with different housings, which is the reason why there's that random rubber ring piece. You shouldn't worry, just plug and play.

as I said you don't need to drill any holes. our fog lights do not have a separate housing so you do not need to drill any holes to make fitment for the bulbs. those instructions are universal and not meant for only altima coupes.

LOL you shoulda asked me about this stuff at the meet man!

150 for an hid kit thats "no name" is just a plain ripoff...

See if you can get your money back from the shop on em (although i doubt they will)... and always ask or look here before spending a DIME on your car... we have "been there, done that" and you can learn from our mistakes/successes!

Im moving the thread now...
