Guys, we've discussed this before (or maybe it was on the other forum). It doesn't really matter what color the foglights are when compared to light scattering - all visible light wavelengths are much shorter than the size of water droplets in the air (fog). Where the kelvin rating comes into play is with the actual output of the light. So although a 3000k or 8000k might look cool, you really should get 4300/5000k for the best output because it is closest to 'white' light, composed of all colors in the visible spectrum.
It's silly to put on 8000k (unless you have a show car that you don't drive at night) and actually use for driving lamps at night, not only annoying others on the road, but probably increasing your chances of getting pulled over.
