I just installed a z-tube today with a K&N cone filter today(love it).

The only thing I notice now is after I let off the gas to shift it sounds like a blow off, and sometimes if I'm WOT there's a little high pitched noise like a spool.

I'm wondering if this is normal, or is there a problem. I'm a little baffled if it is a problem, I guess I'll just have to re-tighten everything.

With my Z tube and JWT popcharger I got the whistle, but never a 'bov' sound.

When I floor it, yes it sounds that way (actually not as much now since I need to clean my filter). Being 5AT I don't know about the 'when shifting' part. Mine usually whistles starting around 2,500 rpm.
