Hello nicoclub, so today I was so excited to get my new Xentec 6000k HIDs. I attempted to install through the wheel well, everything went smoothly, I took out the stock bulb and unplugged it from the connector. Then I put the new bulb inside and attempted to plug in the new bulbs wiring to the car, but the connector will not fit.

The bulb is H11, 6000k Xentec HID Xenon w/ ultra slim ballasts. I dont understand why it's not fitting. Perhaps a packaging mistake?

Anyway, I have a 2008 Altima Coupe 2.5s

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you

Welcome to the club!Kudos on posting this in the right section!

Thats the right bulb size (make sure your fingers never touch a HID BULB)....

What isnt fitting? The bulb to the harness, harness to ballast, ballast to OEM connection?

Most Xentecs have this problem, you either have one of two issues. Yours came already with the prongs inside a small black piece or second you put the prongs into the black piece. Either way this black piece does not fit onto the factory harness is most cases.

The problem i believe your having is where in the pic the factory harness and ballast connect, with yours theres a black piece. it looks like this:

In order to fix this you will need to break the black piece using a small hammer and plyers. First try to just pull the prongs out of the black piece by grasping where the prongs turn into a wire going to the ballast and then use plyers or your other hand on the black piece and pull opposite ways. If the black piece was already connected usually in the case of the slim ballasts there will be a rubber piece that needs to be removed, it simply can be ripped off.

Now once the prongs are exposed plug them into the factory harness they should sit snug in there. Fire up the HIDS to make sure you got the + and - connections right then turn them off. After that get some electrical water resistant tape and tape them tightly together.

Enjoy your HIDS!

I never understand when folks post about this... maybe Xentec changed their kits up... I have Xentec HID's in my fogs and in my wife's headlights... both fit perfectly without any modification... but they weren't the slim ones, they were the older ones.... both still running strong after 2 years

i had this happen to me. e-mail the seller because you have the wrong black connector. The box is labelled H11 but the black adapters are not. i e-mailed the seller and he sent me 2 new connectors which fit perfectly.
