Well, it has finally arrived! I went with the X-Light on the recommendation from a friend. He said they're probably the best kit for the price. It's far from a Sylvania kit, but it seems to be of pretty good quality.

I'm planning on a Sunday install and I'll be sure to take a bunch of pics throught the entire process as I did with the INJEN. Check back Sunday night for the update!

Bumper on or off, I have no clue. Never got around to checking it out, but I'll play it as I go along. I'm probably going to check out the well first because it would much easier than removing the bumper. Don't know if there will be enough space though, but we'll see.

As far as fogs, we'll see how these look first. If they're good, then I'll probably order another of the same set so my color matches.

Eric, make sure to check the stickie with the FSM if you need any pictures to assist you in disassembly of anything.

Hmph... interesting way to go about it... I plan on picking up my HID PAIR (head and fog) shortly.. then pestering my installer/friend to help me for around a month before they get installed.

800k? 6000k?

I went with 5000K because it would probably be closest to factory HID color. I didn't want something too blueish, just pure white light. They're really cracking down on illegal cars/lights/wheels here in Hawaii so I really don't need the extra hassle.

UPDATE:

Well, there is no real update! Unfortunately, there is a flash-flood warning in effect for the entire state so I'm stuck in the house watching the NE vs INDY game. I would've done it in my garage, but you see how filled it is with junk. I got my '55 Willys Bulldog taking up half the garage and a bunch of other crap like wheels, tires, tools, speakers, etc taking up the other half. Been meaning to get my Bulldog running again since it's been sitting for over a year, but I've been too busy with other things, including my Alty Hopefully I can get the HID's done next weekend, pending approval from the Rain God's
