Try this kit. I have this myself and they are great. Do a search for a how-to write up I did on the installation of this kit.

Not sure how much better made in Korea is than made in China, nnbut they seem decent. I'd say go either really cheap or really expensive

Uhh...just trust me on this one because that's what I've been studying for the past 3 years. Products made in Korea are of much better quality than made in China stuff. Look at Samsung and LG and how they're taking over the cell phone and flat-screen LCD market by storm. For a country of just 30 million people, as opposed to the 300 million in the US, and 1.3 billion in China, S. Korea is making a mark in the innovation department. By year 2025, S. Korea will be the richest country in the world, second to the U.S., as far as GDP is concerned. Products originating from S. Korea are of top quality. Believe me. My X-Light kit is just as good of quality as the next kit around. I've been running mine for about 5 months with no problems whatsoever.

Ok, for everyone who doesn't know--including most new members--I got my X-Light kit and it is still running perfect since the day I installed it about 5 months ago. Again, for those who aren't in the "know", xentec, along with most other kits, are manufactuered in China. For myself personally, I try to steer clear of China made goods because of the recent happenings with their products. X-Light is made in Korea, so please don't bad-mouth a company if you've never dealt with them before.

I truly believe that the X-Light kit is of good quality, and probably will last me for the life of my car. I will go out on the limb and say that it is probably of better quality than it's China made counterparts. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide which brand he/she wants to go with. The way I look at it is that, why spend $240+ on a certain kit when you can get just as good quality and reliability as another for half the price.

Just don't badmouth a certain brand if you've NEVER had experience with them before. We're all here for the same reasons, and I don't think it's fair for a certain few to come on here and badmouth a certain brand without any prior experience with it. I stand by what I've said many times before, and my experience with X-Light, along with others, will show that you don't have to pay X amount of dollars to get a good product. I believe I was one of the first on here to actually install aftermarket HID's, and if proof isn't in the pudding, I don't know what will convince people otherwise. X-Light is a very reliable and durable brand. If my experience won't convince you, I don't know what will. Have fun spending $250+ on an HID set-up.

hey, i just bought X-light from ebay for $80 shipped. check my hid conversion kit poll for more details zerothread/318074

top three:

Xentec (seems to be popular) - $130McCulloch - $ 260X-light - $80

Im thinking of getting Xentec hids for my low beam and use X-light for my fog lights. (1) Xentec + (1) X-light = $210 compare (1) McCulloch $260. I think that's a great deal Im hoping to get the hids installed soon as it warms up a little here in Chicago.
