Hello - I was recently in a minor accident and my right headlight housing was damaged. The shop replaced the housing but after the repair, the HID's no longer match in color and intensity. The left housing (original) is much brighter and a slightly different color than the right housing (replaced). The shop guarantees the housing is a Nissan OEM part. They even replaced the bulbs and ballasts as well and spent a lot of time trying to re-focus the projection light to match the original.

Any suggestions or help would be most appreciated!

Thank you!
Ed

If its OEM Nissan, maybe it has a warranty on the part?

If they bring both bulbs outside of the headlight assemblies, do they look similar in color and intensity? That should tell you if the problem is isolated to the headlight itself, or something with the bulb/ballast/wiring.

Thanks - yes they're OEM nissan and warranted. Shop replaced twice. Bulbs outside are identicle and they're a matched pair. They've ordered a third housing and so I asked them to just get a set. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Hopefully you don't have to pay for the other one :(
