HID's installed

thanks to the advice of fellow nico-ers i purchased ddm hids 6000k and installed them tonight. since i'm an absolute noob i checked out the how to forums and went from there. it was a fairly easy install and the auto-on does work.

Looks good! Can you post some pics of the cutoff please? I want to get a set but I'm concerned about blinding other drivers!

i got mine done too, but mine are deep blue, not white and blue mixed. look at my sig and see my HIDs.

Vegan just wanted to give a suggestion, good place to buy. HIDGUY.net they got warrentys and they legit, fast shipping and got not bad prices only place ill get mine from. did ebay once, neva again and their xentec

Damn, I'm sorry. Guess I should spend more time reading.

I got mine from DDM and I purchased 8000k, but they look like 6's. And also someone at the last meet had 10000k but looked like 8.

Did yours come out different than what you expected

i got 5000k on mines with the slim ballast to. lights still work with auto on too.

Hey Doc, I know you installed HIDs on your wife's Altima...did you happen to have any pics of the cutoff? I remember you mentioning that the stock housing is pretty well aimed and the glare isn't too bad, but I'm wondering just how good it is...

i bought 6000k from ddm and they look pure white to me

i don't have a pic of my cutoff when i checked it to make sure it was ok, but it looked fine to me. from 10ft away the cutoff was pretty straight and about 2 inches lower than the headlight itself without doing any adjustments.

hey Doc so you know how sometimes the auto feature doesn't work all the time but what about if you just turn to the "on" feature that's after the auto dial, does that work all the time or is there problems with that too?
