Hey, im making some flip up sleepy eyes with some dual beam driving lights, i have all the fabrication/mechanical stuff done, bulbs retrofitted, but wanted to know either which wires you guys used to power on your relays, or how the headlight wiring on these cars is setup.. is it switched ground or switched power from factory?

i know it's a pretty newb wiring question, but i put some newer jeep headlights on a toyota pickup that had the glass headlight like these cars stock and it kicked my a** to get the seperate high and low beams working correctly on new/different housing.

SO i wanted to take the easy route and just ask which wires were what, i got lost on the service manual diagram because of all the switches/circuit board stuff with the flip factor.

in summation, if you guys hooked up relays for other HID install, which headlight wires did you use to turn on relay for high, for low and was it a negative or positive switched setup? or have people had success just plugging into the factory wiring?

i have one beam as a 55w h3 for fog/high/other(maybe upgrade to 100W,HID or other housing later) simple positive/ negative wire
the other beam is a 35w h3 HID with ballast that has simple positive/negative

thanks for the help.. sorry if too simple, i'll throw some pictures at this if needed or helpful for anyone else
