High beams....we dont need no stinkin' highbeams.

I bought the HIDs when they were few and far between for sale. They have been sitting for a while because I didnt want to go though all of the trouble of installing them in my honda and then getting a new car. If I were buying HIDs now there are tons of bi-zenon projectors which have both high and lowbeam in one projector all over ebay.

I did mine a few weeks ago, now I need to get some custom bodywork done. I suck at sheet metal welding. They are Sylvania Xenarc 1010 HIDs.

This is the inside. That's 1x1/8 stainless flat stock. I can just about lift the car with them. I'm going to get ome black perforated metal to fill in the gap around the lights. I also might get some small crappy lights to add as high beams to stay 100% legal :-)

Yeah, custom work is hard. My first plan was a plexiglass covered unit similar to the eastbear conversion. I really wanted to do it but after making some cardboard templates I realized it would be really difficult. I might do a lazy eye mod and see how that looks.
