Are they pretty bright? How far does the light stretch on a straight road?

cause it makes you look like an attention wh0re and you're pissing people off with the gay colors when you're behind them or in front of them. i don't care what car you have it on, it's rice period. (usually on like older maximas or hondas)

Wow, looks like someone is in a bad mood.

Ok, so since they're are rice and gay and all that...so does that mean i can call every mercedes and/or lexus car or suv rice then?

Yeah, KcKouki i have to agree with ya that purple is definently sexy.

first off i believe all factory cars come with 4300k which is white light. the different purple/blue flickers your see in bmw ect. head lights are form the projector.

i think that the blue/purple light is to attention grabing and the actual distance you can illuminate sucks. the purple just isnt my thing. its ricey to me thats my opinion.

the most light is form 4300k - 6000k after 6000k the distance of the light beam becomes shorter with the higher k rating.

now back on topic does anyone have a pic that shows how the acutal cut off/ beam pattern with different k bulbs on a kouki?

3500 to 4000k will give a bright but a bit yellowish color4000 to 5000k will give the most white6000k will see a bit blue8000k will look purple but the lighting will not be as bright as the 4000 to 6000k lights

i'm using 4500k on my S13 dual projector lights and i have 5000k in my 8th gen civic. both have the brightest white light. i will be putting 5000k bi-xenon in the wife's versa soon.

your car was nice but the lights sure if it was just for a picture sake then cool it looks nice but not cool if you're driving around with them behind other people blinding them with your illegal hids. purple isn't too bad but blue one

and yes why the hell would you get blue illegal hids on a bmw/benz? i saw a brand new e92 white m3 the other day...hot right? when i saw the front it had GREEN angeleyes...i mean c'mon why do people want to make their cars look cheap and tacky especially on something that costs 80k? their decision but i still don't get it.

turbo sorry to threadjack but my friend whose a light freak told me that projectors are better than having no projectors but it will still not be as good as stock. but the best way is to just take out the old ones and retrofit it w/ like tsx or something.

I've seen 15000K before and that's like purple crayon purple. 4300K gives out optimum light, I think it's 2300 lumens or something like that. 6000k looks blue from the outside but when driving the vehicle (my friend's srt has 6000k) it's white. Anything above 7000k or so has crap light output. If you want to go that bright, or brighter, hit ebay or something and get the 55 watt kits. 55 watt kits are ridiculous sexy . I've only seen the 55 watt kits on ebay.
