HID + Relay illustration

(I used the search up above, only brought up 2 threads)both of which dont have what im looking for.

for those who use "relay harnesses" I want to know exactly how this is done:

-what relay to use. -how it effects my hids. -how the heck is the hid ballast connected to a relay?!..-and if possible a wiring map (illustrations).thanks.

A relay harness helps draw current for your hid's directly from the battery, rather than through your factory harness which wasn't designed to power hid's. A relay harness shouldn't affect your hid's in any negative way, in other words if they're working fine, by adding a harness it shouldn't get any worse. there's a pic attached how to connect a harness, but you can google it to find more pics and installation instructions.

that looks like a relay made for hids right?i was just going to go to autozone to pick up anyole relay and just splice n2 the wires..i cold do that if i wanted to right?-------edit:i bought a HID (H11) wiring harness from ebay, i didnt know you could use straight from the battery to power our hids! thanks guys..hope this thread helps others.solved!
