hey guys i already have the factory hid's in my car. well i ordered some a 55w kit from ddm and when i went to install it has a different kind of connector. its like connector that connects into the back of the hid bulb that then connects to the ballast. the cable that runs from the factory connection goes towards the front of the car up under the light so i cant get it out because im going through the wheel well. i was wondering if anyone knew how to upgrade the ballast also. if its possible.

thanks

if you have factory hid's then you don' t need to buy an HID kit, you only need to buy a new bulb. the ballast in factory hid's is built into the headlight housing as far as I know, so I don't know why you'd want to replace an OEM ballast for a cheaper aftermarket one. sounds like you're looking for brighter lights? oem pretty bright
