I looking to buy a 8000k mcculloch hid conversion kit on xenonpros.com and am wondering if anyone knows about this website or this product and can say if its legit or not....and also am wondering if I have to buy a relay harness seperate, or could i just install the kit without one....would it still work without it, because i dont really have the extra money for it.

I say get a cheaper HID kit, $200 for an HID kit with only 1 year warranty is expensive. Usually you do not need a relay harness for HIDs, it's just some people prefer to draw power straight from the battery rather than the stock harness.

You can get an HID kit from http://ddmtuning.com/hidkihidbuhi.html for a lot less than a mccoluch set. Then you could affor the relays with it

yeah it's do-able but I took off my bumper because it's way easier for me to mount my ballasts

first time around if you have no experience with no helpers, it may take up to an hour or more. I would say its a little difficult taking it off the bumper without another helper holding the other side of it.

Here's a tutorial taking off the bumperhttp://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=293385

And here's one for HID install without taking off the bumperhttp://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=294364

Use every single wire that they provide you with. Don't leave out anything.

If they aren't "plug and play" you will need to cut some wires. It's no big deal; buy some couplers and and a crimping tool, cut the stock connector and crimp on the couplers.

I had to do that because I bought a pretty shady kit...

Good luck on the install.
