If your vehicle came with did not come with the LED projector headlights, HID kits are not recommended because of the reflector style housing. You will get a lot of glare and blind any oncoming cars.

I was looking into the same thing, my Rogue is all reflector and I don't want to blind anyone or get pulled over for modifying lights "illegally".

The $750 eBay option looks nice, a little more than I wanted to spend but I guess in this situation we are limited in options.

Actually you can buy any HID kit and use a H11R bulb which comes with a special shield that will make your beam patter almost exactly as your stock halogen. It will cost about $75-$100 the pair and it really worth it.

I tried searching for this but have had no luck.

Any suggestions on an exact name or what I can search by?

Do a projector retrofit. It can cost anywhere fro $250 to $1000+ depending on what kind of retrofit you want to do. But $300 can get you the parts for a great retro

Go to Theretrofitsource.com

I have no affiliation, but have used there products before and they are great.

Also, go to hidplanet.com

Tons of helpful info in there

So I'm looking into upgrading these halogen bulbs to an HID kit.

I recognize that they are an H11 bulb. 55watt
But I'm having trouble understanding which relay I should purchase..
I don't want any fuses going out, being that's it's a brand new car- this is the only upgrade I'll be doing. (or so I think this way now lol)

Can anyone help me??
Should I be getting the 'Single Relay' or the 'Dual Relay' ..?? and what does it mean?

Also, Should I be purchasing the 55 watt??

DO NOT get the 55W kit, its too much current in the first 10 sec. for your stock harness, get the 35W and you dont need the hid harness just order the h11 35W kit and you are done.

no, remember your stock system is 55W and can hold 85W without any problems for a few seconds. Go for it.

so if I purchase the 55w kit, do you recommend a relay with the fuse?

i do not recommend the 55W application ballast, it doesnt matter if you add the harness with the fue or not cause you will use stock harness anyway and the headlight assembly will start to show sign of melt later.

I figure I'll ask here instead of opening a new thread. I have a 2015 Rogue SV with premium package and I'm looking to upgrade the headlights. I found some cool looking headlights on alibaba, but I really like the look of the OEM projector headlights (full LEDs?) my question is, are they plug and play? I remember when I had my VW that if your car came with factory halogens and you wanted OEM xenon HID headlights, you had to replace a control module on the car. Any input is appreciated
