i wrote a how to thread awhile bac on how to do the projectors, try searching for "long overdue", it should be there somewhere, too lazy to find the link myself, but i think you can manage.

Your gonna love how their gonna turn out, so much of a better presence, i my opinion.

here's a few pics of what i've done t mines, planning on adding in another halo, and maybe stronger led's.

upclose

sideview with leds and projectors on

a comparison shot, a before and after. looks SOOO MUCH BETTER

If you're up for the challenge, do it yourself! That way you know how exactly everything was put together and trouble shooting if something went wrong would be a lot easier...unlike troubleshooting someone else's work..

Hey neighbour! By "pre-made pods" I'm assuming you're talking about a full assembly you just stick into your opened lights? If that's the case, then no... All I'm doing is selling the parts needed in order to build the unit yourself. I was originally getting someone else in Toronto to do it (that's the big failboat of a group buy that went down here a year and a half ago...). I decided I wasn't going to keep my coupe so spending the extra cash on a set of projectors didn't seem prudent. I tried to get my deposit back from the bag 'o douche that was doing the retrofits, but he kept throwing back the excuse that the "money was tied up in parts". Long story short, I just recently had him mail me the parts so I could sell them on my own. I spent $500 on the gear and now I'm selling it for $400 + shipping. C'est la vie.

Jeeze man...I know where he buys the parts from and if the projectors aren't TSX, then they only cost less than $100 a set, shrouds are about $50 a set (times 2) and halos another $40 per set. Total is less than $400 with shipping! Man he played us good!

No porblme man, glad i could help the community here. It was something i thought i could sharre with everyone, because, i hear everyone wanting one, so why not make a thread for everyone, that is if they got the cajonez..(dont know if i spelled it right) as everyone else has said. Granted it took me forever to make these, but i got them done.

Most important thing i want to stress and that phenom has done so lovely on his own thread is that, this is a time consuming project and requires the utmost patience during the whole build process.

if you ever got any question hit me up and i'll see what i can do. and i would just like to thank dangries, without his help along the way i wouldnt even know where to start.

Don't I know it...Get this...the little weasel told me he was getting out of the business of projector retrofits so he wouldn't be able to use my parts on a car local to him (which is reason numero 2 why I supposedly couldn't get a refund from him). Just now I Googled his company name and what do I find? This: The douche is STILL in business with his local Subaru club!!!

I don't suppose there's any legal action I can take against this f*cknut, is there?

I will neither confirm or deny that statement

parts can be had everywhere on the net. IMO go for the Acura TSX projectors. They are sweet and the cut off is beautiful

And there you have it. The retrofit is done and you have your brand new lights, but remember this is for the SEDAN, NOT THE COUPE
is there any significant difference between the 2 that i should know about or is it all good?

oh another question i forgot to ask the current hid bulbs i have in my car, are they gonna fit in the projectors or do i need a special kind?

Check your junk mail. If it's still not there, just shoot me an email at [email protected] and that should open up lines of communication...maybe. lolIt's just basically the info on the parts I've got, etc...
