I have a 2008 A/C 3.5SE and bought an HID conversion (balast/bulbs) kit. They were on the car for approx. 3 weeks, then one side (passenger side) went out. I switched up the HID kits and the passenger side kit worked on the driver's side. So it seems that there is something going on with the car on one side.

Would a relay harness or grounding kit fix this issue? Thanks for your help.

Not sure, but what brand HID kit do you have? Check all your connections and add a relay. I know you can get them off Ebay and have helped other members with the same problem I believe. Good Luck.

I ordered it from Xenongate. Unfortunately, there is no phone tech support, so email communication is what is kind of frustrating me now. I ordered the relay last night-it's only $15, so I figured it couldn't hurt...

Thanks.

Found this:

Maybe it is a malfunctioning kit. I can try cleaning the connections but not sure why one side would be fine and the other shot. The 15A fuse is not blown.
